Oil Rig Hemp Beast Balm – 1000 mg Hemp
Looking for a stronger concentration of Hemp in a salve? Beast Balm contains 500 mg of Hemp per ounce as compared to our 100 mg / ounce regular salve. Beast Balm is only available in 2-ounce containers for 1000 mg of Hemp. And, is scented with eucalyptus and spearmint essential oils.
Cannibis has been used since ancient times to treat pain to include neuropathic pain. There is extensive literature supporting a role for both endocannabinoids and phytocannabinoids as modulators of pain.
Created with beeswax, USDA organic coconut oil, vitamin E, and the two essential oils eucalyptus and spearmint. The Hemp (cannabidiol) used in this salve is from industrial hemp. This product contains no THC as shown on the Certificate of Analysis.
Oil Rig Hemp Beast Balm, what is it good for?
Evidence suggests topical application of Hemp may be efficacious for some skin disorders, such as eczema, psoriasis, pruritus, and inflammatory conditions.
Pruritus describes itchy skin which is an uncomfortable, irritating sensation that makes you want to scratch. Itchy skin is often caused by dry skin. It is common in older adults, as skin tends to become drier with age. Mesa Lavender’s salves and body butters with Hemp help relieve these conditions.
The coconut oil in our salves is known to improve the symptoms of skin disorders by moisturizing and soothing the skin.
Oil Rig Hemp Beast Balm, why the name?
For most people our regular Hemp salve with 100 mg of Hemp per ounce is adequate for pain relief when rubbed into knuckles, hands and other parts suffering from inflammation and pain.
Some of our clients, especially those working in the gas, oil and building industries may need a stronger concentration of Hemp. Hence the name Beast Balm. Use by those of all ages and genders, this can be taken with you to the job site and applied as needed.
Since there is no THC in this product there is not concern when taking a drug or urine test.
