Does Hemp body butter work?
Hemp body butter works by delivering cannabidiol (Hemp), a non-psychoactive compound found in the cannabis plant, to the skin. When applied topically, Hemp interacts with receptors in the skin, known as cannabinoid receptors, and providse various benefits.
Hemp works by modulating the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is a complex signaling network that plays a role in regulating various physiological processes in the body, including inflammation, pain, and skin health. The ECS consists of endocannabinoids (which are naturally produced by the body), cannabinoid receptors, and enzymes that break down endocannabinoids.
When Hemp is applied topically, it interacts with the cannabinoid receptors in the skin, potentially producing a range of therapeutic effects. For example, Hemp has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties, which can be beneficial for people with various skin conditions or musculoskeletal issues. Hemp also helps to moisturize and nourish the skin, thanks to its emollient and antioxidant properties.
