Lavender Lemon CBD Tinctures
CBD Tinctures consist of USDA Organic MCT oil, ‘Food-Grade’ essential oil of lavender and lemon, and CBD from industrial hemp. Tinctures can also be referred to as hemp oil, or CBD oil. Not to be confused with hemp seed oil which contains no CBD.
We do not use hemp seed oil, emu oil, or others as these degrade. The MCT oil we use is clean, clear, and taste and odor-less.
When selecting a supplier for your CBD tinctures, there are several things you should take into consideration:
- Color of the tincture. if you tincture is green or brown it likely has chlorophyll and other plant cells floating n the tincture. The tincture should be quite clear.
- Smell. Some tinctures smell quite bad.
- Taste. One lady told me the tincture she bought from someone elses tasted like the bottom of an ash tray. Mesa Lavender Farms CBD Tinctures are very pleasant tasting.
We prefer the term tincture as this is something you best take under your tongue. Leave it there for 60 to 90seconds prior to swallowing for maximum absorption into your blood stream.
Mesa Lavender Farms dosing recommendation is to take 1 ml CBD per 10 pounds of body weight. Mesa Lavender Farms tinctures are formulated so one drop contains one mg of CBD to make it impossible to incorrectly dose.
We would recommend our Lavender Lemon CBD tinctures. We have two versions, one using a full-spectrum distillate and the other with CBD isolated from industrial hemp. The full spectrum version is from a distillate containing THC, the psychoactive component of marijuana. When all dilutions are made however, THC is undetectable.
We still recommend full spectrum for most people due to the benefit of having more than one cannabinoid in the mix. Mesa Lavender Farms has a number of flavored CBD tinctures created from our CBD isolate as well as a full-spectrum CBD tinctures. The essential oils used in these tinctures are Certified Food Grade essential oils. MLF tinctures are available in one- and two-ounce glass amber bottles. The eye dropper provided allows the careful dosing of CBD.
Lavender Lemon Full Spectrum contains CBD and other cannabinoids. The distillate used contains THC, the psychoactive ingredient of marijuana. When diluted with MCT oil and other ingredients there is no detectable level of THC as shown on this Certificate of Analysis.
